Yes. Urnex products are designed to make routine coffee-equipment cleaning straightforward, with clear formats for different jobs such as tablets, powders and liquids.

Many products are pre-measured or used through the machine’s normal cleaning programme, while others are mixed or dosed according to the instructions. The main thing is choosing the correct Urnex product for the equipment and cleaning task, then following the product and machine guidance.

Cafiza cleans coffee oils and brewing residue. Rinza cleans milk residue from milk tubes, frothers, steam wands and automatic milk systems. They are not interchangeable.

Alkaline Rinza products primarily target milk fats and proteins. Acid Rinza products help remove mineral deposits and scale within compatible milk systems. The appropriate routine depends on the equipment and manufacturer’s instructions.

Dezcal removes limescale and mineral deposits from compatible coffee-machine water circuits and hot-water equipment. It does not replace a Cafiza coffee-system cleaner or Rinza milk cleaner.

Grindz is designed for compatible standalone burr grinders. SuperGrindz is formulated for integrated grinders in compatible superautomatic bean-to-cup machines.

Do not use standard Grindz in an integrated bean-to-cup grinder unless the machine and product instructions explicitly permit it. SuperGrindz is the Urnex product developed for compatible superautomatic machines.

The routine depends on the machine and how often it is used. Some tasks are required daily, while automatic cleaning programmes, descaling and filter replacement take place less frequently. Follow the machine’s prompts and manufacturer guidance.
