Which Coffee Machine Water Filter Do You Need?
JURA CLARIS Tank Filters
JURA CLARIS cartridges sit inside the water tanks of compatible household and professional automatic coffee machines.
The range includes different cartridge types for different machine ranges and generations. These include CLARIS Blue, Smart, Smart+, Pro Blue, Pro Smart+, and Pro Smart Maxi products.
Some machines also require a compatible filter extension. Match the cartridge to the exact machine model rather than choosing by shape or colour.
JURA F-Series External Filters
JURA F2300, F3300 and F5300 cartridges form part of the external JURA water-filtering system.
They connect to the water supply through a compatible filter head and are designed for suitable professional, food-service and vending installations. They do not simply drop into a coffee machine’s water tank.
Water Hardness and Filter Capacity
Filter capacity depends on the cartridge, local water hardness and the amount of water used.
Harder water places a greater mineral load on the filter, meaning the same cartridge may treat fewer litres in one location than another. JURA publishes different capacities according to water-hardness levels for applicable CLARIS cartridges.
